Ceiling lamp model A 330 "Kultakello", design Alvar Aalto, made by Valaistustyo, 1950s, Brass. Manufacturer's stamp inside the lamp. Good condition, slight patina of time and wear.

The Kultakello lamp was originally designed in 1937 for the Savoy restaurant. The renewed model was introduced to the market in 1950/1953. In the renewed model, instead of one brass dome, there were three different brass parts, which prevented the previous model from overheating. The Kultakello lamp has also been on display in the Finnish pavilion at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937.
