Gunilla Jung
Gunilla Pircklén (née Jung, 1905–1939) was a pioneering Finnish designer of silverware and lighting, known for her distinctive and original creations during the 1930s. Trained at the Central School of Applied Arts in Helsinki, she became one of the early trailblazers of Finnish modern design.
Jung's work — especially her unique silver pieces and artful light fixtures — reflected a rare blend of craftsmanship and bold artistic vision. Though her life was tragically short, her influence on Scandinavian design is enduring.
At Fargo Vintage & Design, we proudly offer select original pieces by Gunilla Jung — including unique vintage lighting that capture the spirit of 1930s Finnish design.
