Gunnel Nyman

Gunnel Nyman – a pioneer of Finnish glass design.
Originally educated as a furniture designer, Nyman turned to glass in the 1930s and worked at Riihimäen Lasi, Nuutajärvi, and Iittala.
She designed furniture for Boman and lighting for Paavo Tynell’s Taito Oy and Orno.
