Collector's item/Extremely rare model 13 armchair, designed by Alvar Aalto, manufactured by Oy Huonekalu- ja Rakennustyötehdas Ab, early 1930s. The chair is made of beech, suggesting that it is one of the first armchairs produced by Alvar Aalto. The details of the legs, featuring a stepped design, point to early prototypes.

The Chair Model 13, with its sharply curved back, was introduced in 1932. The following year, a chair model was introduced that is still in production today.

We cannot guarantee the chair’s durability for sitting or general use; the chair is an extremely rare collector’s item.

The armchair comes from a family whose member worked at the Huonekalutehdas Korhonen (Korhonen Furniture Factory)

In the Helsinki Metropolitan Area (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa), the customer can choose free delivery to the street level or delivery to the apartment (two carriers) for €145. For smaller home deliveries, please ask for price.
For shipping outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, it is possible to choose either a domestic parcel (max 60x60x120) for €30 or Street-level delivery (to the building entrance) for €75.
